Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how OzoGames handles information in connection with OzoGames.org, a static browser-game discovery website.

Last updated:

Introduction

OzoGames operates OzoGames.org as a browser-game discovery website. The site is generated as static HTML pages from catalog data and does not require users to create accounts.

This policy describes the information that may be processed when someone visits the site, searches the catalog, opens pages, sends email to OzoGames, or chooses to load a third-party game iframe.

Scope

This policy applies to pages and static assets served by OzoGames.org. It does not control the privacy practices of external game providers, external thumbnail hosts, browser extensions, internet service providers, or hosting and security infrastructure outside the application code.

Information users provide directly

OzoGames does not provide account registration, comments, payment processing, newsletters, or a contact form in the current application. If you send email to contact@ozogames.org, the message will include the email address and any information you choose to include.

Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive personal information by email.

Information collected automatically

The OzoGames application code serves static pages and does not create user accounts or profile records. Like most websites, requests for pages and assets may involve technical information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, referring page, time of request, and security signals processed by the hosting provider or CDN.

This technical information may be used to deliver the site, protect the service, diagnose errors, and understand aggregate operational behavior.

Server and security logs

OzoGames is designed for Cloudflare Pages deployment. Cloudflare or similar hosting and security providers may process request logs and security events as part of delivering, caching, and protecting the site.

OzoGames does not add a separate analytics or advertising script in its own source code at this time.

Cookies and browser storage

The current OzoGames application code does not set first-party advertising cookies, account cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage values.

External game providers may use their own cookies, storage, scripts, or notices after you choose to press Play and load an embedded game. Those providers operate under their own policies and technical controls.

Search functionality

Search runs in the browser against a static search-index.json file. The search page may use the q query parameter in the URL so a search can be reopened or shared.

The application code does not send search queries to a backend search service because there is no backend search server in the current build.

External game providers and embedded content

Game pages do not include a game iframe in the initial HTML. The iframe is created only after a user explicitly presses Play.

When an embedded game is loaded, the browser contacts the external game provider. The provider may receive technical request information and may operate its own cookies, storage, advertising, links, or notices. OzoGames cannot control those external systems.

External thumbnail and asset hosts

Game thumbnails may be loaded from approved external HTTPS hosts. When an image loads from an external host, that host may receive a normal web request for the image.

OzoGames does not copy full game packages or thumbnail files into the generated static output.

How information is used

  • To serve static pages, images, scripts, stylesheets, search index files, sitemaps, and security headers.
  • To respond to direct email messages sent to contact@ozogames.org.
  • To troubleshoot broken pages, broken games, incorrect catalog information, or security issues.
  • To protect the site from abuse, excessive automated traffic, or attempted disruption.

Information sharing

OzoGames may share information when needed to operate the site through hosting, CDN, email, security, or infrastructure providers. OzoGames may also disclose information if required to address security, legal, or operational concerns.

When you load external games or externally hosted thumbnails, your browser communicates with those third-party hosts directly.

Data retention

OzoGames keeps direct email messages only as long as reasonably useful for handling the request, maintaining records of the issue, or protecting the service.

Hosting and security logs are controlled by the relevant infrastructure provider and may have separate retention settings.

Security

OzoGames uses static output, escaping in generated templates, HTTPS URLs, restrictive security headers, and lazy iframe loading to reduce risk.

No website can guarantee perfect security. Users should avoid sending sensitive information by email or through third-party game interfaces.

International access

OzoGames.org may be accessed from different countries. Requests may be processed through hosting, CDN, email, and infrastructure systems located in more than one jurisdiction.

Children's privacy

OzoGames does not require accounts, but the site is not presented as exclusively child-directed. Children should not send personal information by email or enter personal information into third-party game experiences.

Parents or guardians can contact OzoGames at contact@ozogames.org with privacy concerns, including concerns about a specific game page. External game providers may have different practices.

User choices and privacy rights

You may choose not to press Play on embedded games, block third-party cookies in your browser, use browser privacy controls, or contact OzoGames about direct email messages you have sent.

Privacy requests can be sent to contact@ozogames.org. Include enough detail to identify the relevant message or page, but do not include sensitive information unless necessary.

Third-party links and services

OzoGames pages may link to category, tag, search, and game pages on the site, and embedded games may contain third-party content once loaded. Third-party services are responsible for their own terms and privacy practices.

Changes to this policy

OzoGames may update this policy when the site, providers, or operational practices change. The Last updated date on this page identifies the current published version.
